Protect Your Inner Peace

Did you know that you can allow a wave of peace to wash over you at any time, even with all the daunting tasks that lay before you today?

You don't have to harbor turmoil within your soul.
You can let it go.

Although we often somehow think worrying and planning will help us have more control over stress,
cultivating inner peace is actually what will lead to a longer-lasting, real solution.

You can look forward to today with courage. Inner peace is a gift that is available now.
It is yours for the taking, and yours to protect— no matter what is happening around you.
You face nothing alone.

The ease and freedom you're craving will come not with more worrying and hustling, but with a little more stillness.

Today I challenge you to:
1) Take three long, deep breaths.
2) Treat yourself with tenderness and grace. Treat yourself to a random act of kindness.
3) Connect with the abundance all around you: a warm memory, a sunrise, a baby's sigh, a beautiful horizon, fresh flowers, snow falling...whatever it may be. Peace is all around if we look for it.
